"As a mom of three (ages 20, 9, and 14 months), the first year of daycare for my youngest has definitely been a challenge and such a big difference compared to my older two. Her health issues, combined with difficulty finding the right fit, only added to the stress. However, I was so grateful when this new location opened up—it’s conveniently close to home and the facility is spacious and bright. My daughter has felt at ease here, and as a parent, that’s a huge relief. She’s currently going through a phase of separation anxiety and teething, so there are times when she’s clingier than usual. But once I’m out of sight, she’s totally fine, which shows that the staff is doing a great job of making her feel comfortable. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, and I feel confident that my daughter is safe. One feature I really appreciate is that her First Steps speech therapist is able to come on-site for her sessions, which has been incredibly convenient. This kind of integration is very important to me when choosing childcare. I also love that they do working interviews to ensure staff are a good fit for the children in their care, which speaks volumes about their commitment to quality. My best advice for new parents would be to come prepared with your questions and don’t be afraid to ask whatever’s on your mind. These are your babies, and you have to advocate for them. You don’t know what you don’t ask, so make sure to communicate openly. Communication is the key to any relationship with a childcare provider. I’ve also found the Brightwheel app to be an excellent tool for staying connected. It allows me to easily communicate back and forth with the providers, which is a big help. Ms Denise, Ms. Yanis and all the staff have been great. The only “con”(lol) that I will mention is that my daughter has finally started to walk , which is great, but with that, comes aging out of the infant room and moving on to the toddler room. It’s great, but I will definitely miss the staff in the infant area, because they truly showed love to her as if she was their own, even on days when she had a ‘tude’ lol."
